Floor System

1.    Flooring
There are two options for the flooring, the wooden floor and the ceramic floor.
1.1.    Wood flooring is any product manufactured from timber that is designed for use as flooring, either structural or aesthetic. Wood is a common choice as a flooring material due to its environmental profile, durability, and restorability. There are many different timbers can be the materials for different forms of wooden flooring.
1.2.    Ceramic flooring, it is optional on the colors, sizes and styles. Also it is customized as there will be more choice based on our big amount partners and suppliers.

2.    Sub-floor
The sub-floor is the layer under the flooring; it is for structural keel or humid proof layer.
2.1.    For the wet area there will be the special waterproof treatment to make sure no water can infilter into the structure.
2.2.    For the dry area there will be humid proof layer to protect the structural panel under the sub-floor and the structure avoiding any humidity and water.

3.    Structural panel (reinforce layer)
As the structural panel is bearing the loading of the floor, it requires the good firm and toughened capacity. OSB and the fiber cement panel can meet it and widely used on the structure building systems.
3.1.    OSB, Oriented strand board, is an engineered wood particle board formed by adding adhesives and then compressing layers of wood strands (flakes) in specific orientations. OSB may have a rough and variegated surface with the individual strips of around 2.5 × 15 cm (1" × 6"), lying unevenly across each other and comes in a variety of types and thicknesses.
3.2.    Fiber cement board is a building material used to cover the floor structure as the structural panel and for the lining panel on the structure and exterior of a building in both commercial and domestic applications. Fiber cement is a composite material made of sand, cement and cellulose fibers.

4.    Insulation
As there is a big hollow space from the bottom to the top on the floor structure (30cm), more insulation materials are allowed to be filled to make the house with better heat and sound insulation. The usual insulation materials on the market are the mineral wool and glass wool.
4.1.    Mineral Wool, also known as mineral fiber, mineral cotton, mineral fibre, man-made mineral fibre (MMMF), and man-made vitreous fiber (MMVF), is a general name for fiber materials that are formed by spinning or drawing molten minerals (or "synthetic minerals" such as slag and ceramics). Specific mineral wool products are rock (stone) wool and slag wool. Europe also includes glass wool which, together with ceramic fiber, are completely man-made fibers. Applications of mineral wool include thermal insulation (as both structural insulation and pipe insulation, though it is not as fire-resistant as high-temperature insulation wool), filtration, soundproofing, and hydroponic growth medium.
4.2.    Glass wool is an insulating material made from fibers of glass arranged using a binder into a texture similar to wool. The process traps many small pockets of air between the glass, and these small air pockets result in the thermal insulation properties.
Glass wool is produced in rolls or in slabs, with different thermal and mechanical properties. It may also be produced as a material that can be sprayed or applied in place, on the surface to be insulated.
